Lockton are proud sponsors of this event – a track day like no other and designed to raise money for charitable causes. Featuring some of the world's greatest cars being driven by some of the best known names in motoring at Goodwood, a circuit steeped in history.
Now in its fourth year, this fantastic day has raised over £140,000 for various charities. Sadly, 2020's event has been cancelled but we are excited to be able to announce that the organisers and sponsors have worked hard to adapt to the current challenging situation to create something which we think is almost as exciting.
One of the things which is key to the appeal of Veloce is that it offers an experience which cannot be found elsewhere. From a grid walk amongst motoring icons (both four wheeled and their famous pilots) to passenger rides around the famous circuit and including drives in the surrounding roads in a variety of modern exotica, it really is a unique and amazing experience.
So much so, in fact, that it was recognised at the 2019 Historic Motoring Awards and won Breakthrough Event of the Year – a thoroughly well-deserved accolade against prestigious competition.
With this in mind, 2020's event has been adapted so that the drive to raise money for charities can continue. Lockton and Axa XL are proud to continue our sponsorship of the remodelled event and we are excited to be able to tell you a bit more about the plans.
The theme of an experience which cannot be bought continues and we're excited to be able to confirm that this year's Veloce will take the form of an online auction hosted by the amazing team at www.collectingcars.com

And if this frankly mouth-watering list isn't enough for you, there's more. If you ever liked the idea of having your car professionally photographed, you can buy a photoshoot at Salon Prive on Wednesday 23rd September – with Damon Hill and Richard Attwood, gentlemen who need no introduction. They will sign your photo of your car. The cost of this amazing opportunity is £250 and 100% of this will go to Veloce's charities.
The organisers of Salon Privé have kindly offered at half price tickets for anyone signing up for the photoshoot. So instead of paying the normal price of £295 per person, you can enjoy a full day at Salon Privé, including champagne, lunch and afternoon tea amongst some of the rarest and most valuable cars on the planet, for just £147.50.
We can't thank Damon and Richard enough for their continued support and the Salon Prive organisers have also been incredibly generous – our thanks to them also.
Charity remains at the heart of Veloce and we're hoping that 2020's event with a difference will be no exception and raise a lot of money for the event's chosen charities, Hope for Tomorrow and The Halow Project.
